I've recently taken over webmaster duties for a team site and I'm adding a news aggregator on a new general webpage and I keep getting ALL 'old' news articles in the news feed.  I randomly inspected a few of these old articles from a past years and they all have every webpage tagged on the entire site, so they automatically show up in any news aggregator. Is there a way to 'untag' all these articles en masse or am I expected to edit tags for 10s of 100s of old articles one by one?

Hi there,

Unfortunately, there isn't a way to untag everything on the site. I had the same issue when I took over the lacrosse site that I manage. I went through each one and remove the tags one by one.

thanks,

rob

Whenever I've had to do things in bulk, I've enlisted help of some eager parents. I'll send an email or post to our org's Facebook page, looking to see if anyone wants to help with some website duties. It's really quick to make them a site admin (and then revoke it after), and you'd be surprised how many people are willing to help. Don't overlook HS- and College-age siblings either [smile]

Thanks all.  I figured it was a manual task but thought I'd check in with the community.
