This applies to both the public and the beta version of the mobile app. The events listed in the app don't reflect what is on our SportsEngine calendar. I've triple checked on both mine (beta) and my wife's (public) mobile apps.

It's showing events that were already deleted, showing old names for other upcoming events, and some events are missing altogether. I've double-check the tags on those items on the website and they should be good.

Hello!

Sorry you are having trouble getting your calendar to update!

Without getting too technical here I'll try to explain how the schedule works - each time you go to the Schedule page it will make an API call which will insert/update/delete any events that have updated or changed. If you're not seeing that happen the API may be timing out.

Are you and your wife on a cell connection or wifi? If you could try connecting to a faster wifi connection it may help if it is a timeout issue.

If that doesn't do it for you, I can look into it further if you can tell me the team that has the events you're not seeing get updated. We can check the data in the background to make sure the API has all of the correct data. It would be great to know the other teams you have favorited as well - having more teams means the API has to check for more updates which could have an impact.

Finally, I wanted to let you know that we are currently scoping out some work on the schedule page to improve the UI and speed up the timing of event loading. We should be able to get you fixed up in advance of those updates, and then once we complete that work it'll be even better!

This is on wifi and wireless. It's been happening for weeks. I'd be surprised if it was a timeout, at least on my end.

However this afternoon I logged out and logged back into the app and then all the calendar stuff was updated.
