I'm a new SportsEngine Admin and I have a question about permissions.

I have an accountant who I would like to give access to all of the financial information I can see from the SportsEngine "Home" page - the one with the menu down the left side that contains "Home, Members, PowerPay...etc"

I had her create a user and then gave that user the role of Site Administrator.  When she logs in, she can see the cog on the right that gives her access to the "yellow pages" area of the site.  However, the "Financials" page in that area doesn't give her access to the things I can see on the "Blue Pages" like PowerPay and Transactions. This is the area I really need her to have access to so she can run the reports necessary to do her job.

How can I give her permissions to use this area?

Here's a good article from our Help Center that shows step-by-step how to grant permissions.

Give that a look and let me know if you still have any questions.

Hey Loren -

I read that page - and my issue is that she currently has "Webmaster" permissions which based on the list in that article, should grant her access to the whole site.  Not ideal, but it's what I thought would work when nothing else would.
"P
However, she can log in, and see the "yellow" admin pages, but when she clicks on the "PowerPay" tab or the "People" and then "Members" option, either of which should take her to the "blue" admin pages, she gets an "Access Denied" page that says to check with her admin to get the proper permissions.

So I'm at a loss.  Does "Webmaster" permissions grant access to the whole site?  From where I sit, it does not.

The issue is that the "Financials" page in the "Yellow" admin section doesn't have the same info as the PowerPay, Financial Reports, and Transactions have in the "Blue" section - if they were the same, it wouldn't matter so much.

Thanks,
Tim

Sorry about the delay on this, but we dug into the issue and it should be resolved now. Let me know if that is not the case.
