Greetings everyone. Really excited that everyone gets SportsEngine HQ today. Also, we're releasing the new SE Bar so you can easily get to where you need across the entire platform.

We'll be here and on live support as always. Look forward to hearing your feedback, questions, and comments.

Thanks all! JD

Hi Jim,

My first impressions of the new HQ product are good.
I know it has been a time of transition to get to this point and retire the 'classic' interface.

My question is what is the best way to write up and send product improvement suggestions so they actually get seen by developers?

I've seen the SportsEngine ideas site and this community forum, but there seems to be a lot of stale content that hasn't been responded to or acknowledged by SE.

As an example of an issue with HQ...   On Jan 1 2019, the PowerPay Year To Date filter wiped out all the summary information about my outstanding invoices. I have thousands in outstanding and overdue invoices but since the new year the summary reads $0.

The natural solution is to add a selectable time range filter like the one that exists for the financial report page.

I'd like to write this up and submit it for development consideration, but my guess is that 10 other people may have already done so and it may already be on the development schedule.

So how can we as users contribute to the identification of product improvements without wasting time covering issues that have already been raised?

Is there some way to expose a summary list that shows what issues have been identified and put on the development schedule without exposing all the dirty laundry of your software development?

I think the user community would like to be involved in improving the product, but when I read through posts on various topics, I sense a general frustration that many times there is no positive feedback and acknowledgement that our voice has been heard.

Thanks,

-Chris

Jim,
I’m sorry my initial comment brings up a problem but HQ isn’t working on Chrome. I like what I when using it on IE. I’ll check it on Firefox later today. Multi-browser access is valuable so hopefully this is a “simple” fix.
Thanks
Fred

Hmmm. What's happening for you? I use Chrome exclusively and have no issues.

The top bar shows that I’m logged in but the main area of the page shows a key icon and asks me to “sign in”. It never shows me the dashboard. I sent a screenshot to CS last night.
Oddly enough, it works from the Chrome app on my iPhone.
Also I checked Firefox this morning and that works fine. I’ll look at Chrome some more this evening when I get home.

Gotcha. Sounds like there is a login issue for some, which sound like you're lucky enough to be a part of. Being worked on now.

As promised, I'm at home this evening about to experiment with my website using Chrome and I'm seeing some strange behavior from the start. I opened my website and it came up with edit mode turned on but shows that nobody is logged in yet. Screenshot attached. I selected "sign in" in the upper right corner and it just regenerated the same page. Then I selected the Admin gear and it went to the HQ page and then immediately switched to the normal sign in page. So I signed in and the HQ page came back up, with my initials in the upper right, but the key icon in the center asking me to sign in again. Screenshot attached. I hope this helps with your troubleshooting process. Thanks for your support.

Jim,
Problem solved. Cookie management issue. Chrome was refusing too many necessary cookies.

We offer an advanced volleyball clinic by invitation only.  We tried to give the link to the instructor, but it gets lost or jumbled.  Is there anyway to have the registration link live to the general public but only accessible with a code?  Or hidden in some way?  Or some other work-around?  Please advise.  We are pretty new to SE.  TIA (I put this here bc I am unable to post under General for some reason. Hope this works...
