Sure thing. First, the plan is have 20 or so current customers in the first BETA. So give your account manager an email/call if you're interested.

With the BETA, you'll have access to:
  • Create and sell memberships directly
  • Membership validation in your registrations
  • Ability to sell the required membership in your registrations if the registrant doesn't have the required one.
  • Digital cards for iOS and Android
  • QR codes to scan to receive additional information about the member
It's integrated with Member Directory in HQ so you can use it for cross reporting. There's some other features but these are the highlights.

NOTE: For the BETA, you're limited to using the membership in your organization. Meaning, you can't sell a membership and have another organization validate it in their registration. Something to keep in mind.

Membership BETA Testing Observations

Beta Testing the new Memberships Module.

1. Memberships was a much needed tool because invoicing is a little awkward when it comes to billing for a regularly offered program.

Observations:
A. A payment plan option is needed. Normally a membership is a regularly billed program that takes a certain amount of money each month for the user to attend a particular program.

A..(examp) YETI Lacrosse offers an Academy program throughout the year.  The user needs to be able to select a month to participate with a cost. OR more efficient is for a user to SUBSCRIBE to the membership program where the system will automatically take the monthly membership cost. (Until the user cancels)

B. The users need to be able to click a link to join the membership.  With a quantity of month (or however the membership is setup) with a page element (like the registration link) (quantity is important here as the membership may be for days or weeks)

The current link to a membership is very complicated.

C. Some kind of reminder email needs to be sent to the membership users when it is ready to renew or expire.

That's it so far.

More feedback for Memberships...


If I set the membership price to be $100, is that the total of the entire membership or is it a monthly fee?

Where do I set the dates to take the money out.

$100 is the total for the membership period which is paid up front. Recurring charges for a membership is something that others have asked about.
